Steph Gamauf
Senior Innovation Consultant
Steph is a Senior Innovation Consultant with a focus on growing community-led innovation to tackle entrenched inequalities.
At Innovation Unit, she is the Programme Lead for Live Well, Greater Manchester’s movement for community-led health and wellbeing that is rooted in Andy Burnham’s manifesto commitment to grow opportunities for people to Live Well in their neighbourhoods.
Steph has worked with NHS Devon ICB in growing system-wide, place-based approaches to tackling obesity and is currently supporting Wigan Council as a Learning Coach in the development of a community-led family hub.
Steph’s work centres on relationships with people and building collaborative practice across sectors, experiences and backgrounds. She has built her career in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and is passionate about the critical role of place-based organisations supporting communities to thrive. Before joining Innovation Unit she’s worked for the public-participation think tank Involve, Impact Hub Brixton, New Economy co-operative Stir to Action and High Trees Community Development Trust, where she led on the development of the VCSE consortium Building Young Brixton, exploring borough-wide approaches to addressing youth violence and unemployment.
