We are very sad to share the death of our former colleague, Eric Asamoa-Frimpong.

Eric was Innovation Unit’s Finance Manager from 2019 until 2023. He was a wonderful colleague, who pursued his finance work diligently and quietly, alongside contributing courageously and powerfully to broader conversations at IU on anti-racism. 

Eric was a wise and lovely Dad, and often reflected with us on the joys and challenges of parenting, helping us all in our own lives and families. His kindness and care was evident in his patience, his dedication to our work, and his relationships with colleagues. 

We are deeply saddened by this loss, and send our most heartfelt condolences to his wife and four sons, whom we heard so much about. They made Eric laugh, they made him proud and above all he loved them deeply.
